  1. ISRO will launch the third of seven satellites for India's own navigation system like US GPS. The launch will be from Sriharikota on Oct 10 at 1.56 am.
  2. Anti-dumping duty ($47.29 - $196.24) imposed on phenol from US & Taipei (China) for 5 years, to safeguard Indian manufacturers - CBEC.
  3. Lubkaransar District, Bikaner, Rajasthan started the first olive refinery in country. The olive oil will be marketed under "Raj Olive Oil". The olive cultivation project started in 2007 by Israeli assistance. 
  4. Railways to install CCTVs at reservation centres to check black-marketing.
